Born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi, Minister Rice accepted Christ at the young age of seven. From his early walk with God to his service as a United States Army veteran, his path has always been grounded in discipline, faith, and obedience.

In 2004, he fully embraced his call to ministry and has since committed every gift to preaching, teaching, and lifting up the name of Jesus.

As a national and international gospel recording artist, Minister Rice’s music has touched audiences across the globe. His songs minister healing, hope, and conviction — and his consistent presence on gospel charts proves that the message is reaching hearts. With nine No. 1 songs over the past two years alone, his voice is not only anointed — it’s appointed.

He is also a scholar of the Word, having earned a Theology degree with high honors from Sterling College. His academic pursuit and spiritual calling come together in every message, whether he’s preaching, teaching, or ministering through music. He is also a proud husband to Sister Catherine Rice and the father and grandfather of a growing, God-fearing family.
