The Praise Café Network is proud to announce the addition of Gospel radio legend Dr. Bobby Parker to our growing family of broadcasters. With 38 years of excellence in radio and a legacy that spans more than 15 stations, Dr. Parker brings unmatched experience, inspiration, and passion for gospel music to our platform. His award-winning voice and proven leadership continue to shape the sound of faith-based radio across the country.


Dr. Parker is a Stellar Award–winning broadcaster, receiving the prestigious honor for Radio Announcer of the Year in 2000. For 27 years, he has served as vice president of the National North Carolina Gospel Announcers Guild (NCGAG), and his influence has been felt through beloved programs such as “Morning Inspiration” on WEAL Greensboro and his work at numerous stations throughout the Raleigh-Durham market. His achievements include induction into the 2023 Spin Awards Hall of Fame, the 2025 National Black Radio Hall of Fame, and the conferring of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Sacred Radio Broadcasting Management in 2022.


We are honored to welcome his nationally syndicated program, The Bobby Parker Radio Show, now celebrating 13 years of uplifting listeners nationwide. Heard on more than 30 affiliates and recognized as a contender for Syndicated Gospel Radio Show of the Year at this year’s Stellar Awards, his broadcast brings power, encouragement, and authentic gospel storytelling to The Praise Café Network Radio Station.


As he joins The Praise Café Network, we celebrate not only his legendary career but also the heart behind the microphone. Dr. Parker’s greatest joy is his family—his daughter Ashley Parker, granddaughter Ava Jai, and grandson Lil’ CJ—who inspire his lifelong commitment to service and excellence.
